How can I help?

Q: How can I help?

A: Simple, get your cats spayed or neutered. Make your cat an indoor only cat. Let people know that there are too many stray cats in the world, and to help control the population by spaying and neutering.

Q: OK, but how can I help your cats?

A: We can always use help. We are in the process of trying to start a non-profit organization for the care and upkeep of our rescue cats and others that will come along. It is a time consuming operation, and costs money. While we can't offer tax deductions for donations yet, we still can use any donations. We presently use more than one vet to spay/neuter the cats and for checkups to help spread out the costs. We get discounts from these vets, but it is by far from free. We have cat litter, food, toys, medicine and other expenses every week. This we do out of our own pockets and can use help. If you have cat food coupons, cat litter coupons, new cat toys, old towels, blankets, gift certificates to SuperPetz, PetSmart, or any online pet store, we would be glad to take them off your hands. Any donations can be sent directly to us at:

Patrick & Shelley Driscoll

Pretty Special Cats, INC

101 Kings Court

Summerville, SC 29485

Any monetary donations will be used for the upkeep of any cats we have, with vet bills and food taking priority. Any checks can be made out to Patrick or Shelley Driscoll until our tax exempt status is approved. As little as one dollar will help with the care and placement of these cats, and will help us to continue to accept new strays and make the world a better place for all of us.

Q: Great, I have some stuff to send you, but I can I help more with these cats?

A: If you live in the Greater Charleston area of South Carolina, please feel free to contact us at the above address or by email at pdriscoll@sc.rr.com. We can work out something.
